The first PGI for Literacy event took place in Nova Scotia in 1991, and Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) held NSPGI golf tournaments until 2017. In our ongoing efforts to provide supports for adult learners and practitioners across Nova Scotia, LNS continues to rely on those who share Peter Gzowski’s passion for supporting literacy. We are thrilled to host a new event – The Inaugral NSPGI for Literacy Gala Dinner and Auction on April 30, 2019 at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. You’ll enjoy a fabulous meal, auction and entertainment, and you will be inspired by the amazing stories of adults who changed their lives by improving their literacy and essential skills. Net revenue raised at the NSPGI for Literacy Gala Dinner and Auction will stay in Nova Scotia and will be used by LNS to support adult learners. Your support of NSPGI will make a difference to the more than 2,000 adults enrolled each year in 30+ community-based programs across our province.
